EDTA MICRONUTRIENTS

Forestchem is pleased to announce the arrival of EDTA micronutrients, our latest addition to our agrochemical products portfolio.

EDTA micronutrients are essential elements that are required by plants in their life cycle. EDTA forms a circle around the micronutrient to prevent it from being tied up by other chemicals in the soil, this product is referred to as a chelate. Chelation enhances absorption and utilisation of the micronutrients by the plant. Our new additions include:

EDTA Ca: calcium promotes early root formation and growth and improves plant vigour.

EDTA Cu: copper activates several enzymes for building amino acids and converting them to proteins. Copper deficiency is most often seen on new plant growth.

EDTA Fe: Iron is essential in the formation of chlorophyl and the transfer of energy within the plant.

EDTA Mn: Manganese is essential for chlorophyl development and is a catalyst in several energy systems.

EDTA Zn: Zinc is required for starch production, root development and seed formation.
